Pastitsada : It is the most popular Corfu food with beef in tomato sauce with garlic, parsley, salt and pepper, olive oil, onion and cinnamon. Served with spaggeti .
Sofrito : Thin slices of fried beef, with white sauce from garlic, parsley, white pepper, white wine, salt and vinegar. Served with rice or mushed potatoes
Codfish Bianco : Codfish cooked in sauce of garlic, parsley, lemon juice and black coarse pepper.
Bourdeto : Fish cooked in spicy tomato sauce. Tsigareli : Saute wild garden-stuffs with chopped onion, garlic, salt and red hot pepper.

By Car from Corfu town Port

Distance 13 km / 8 miles Journey time: 30 min approx. depending on traffic

Turn RIGHT when you exit the port and look for signs to AIRPORT and LEFKIMMI.
Ethnikis Lefkimmis is the main road to South Corfu. Look for signs to LEFKIMMI.
After 7 km approx TURN LEFT following signs to LEFKIMMI. Benitses village is 5 km after that.

Upon entering Benitses village: On you right pass the Sea Shell Museum; the children's playground; the taxi rank, Benitses square; hotel Potamaki; Alexander's bar; Food ways restaurant.
Now, on your left pass Feng Shui and Big Bite Grill Room. TURN RIGHT on the first small street after the Tasty Yard restaurant.
